You have a few different options when it comes to putting yogurt in the freezer. Freeze it in the large tub, single serving containers or divide into portions. Our favorite way? Divided and frozen!

1. Measure
Measure yogurt in the quantity desired.
2. Seal
Place into a ziplock bag, remove extra air, and seal.
3. Freeze
To use in recipes, thaw the yogurt first. If using for smoothies, keep frozen.

Whether you are putting full-fat, non-fat or Greek yogurt in the freezer, the texture will change once thawed. There is no reason to panic if it becomes watery or grainy once defrosted – the flavor is good as new! Simply stir the yogurt then use as directed by the recipe.
