Notes
Add to a charcuterie board instead of breadsticks.
Always bake! The key to a crisp and crunchy Chex mix is baking for the full time.
Make dairy free by using a vegan butter or swapping in coconut oil. The coconut oil is especially great if turning this snack into a sweeter version.
Always read ingredient labels! We often get comfortable with gluten-free items and brands, but labels are always subject to change. It never hurts to always recheck labels and is a best practice to teach our kiddos as they start to become more comfortable cooking in the kitchen.
A single batch makes roughly 12 servings. Make a double or triple batch depending on the number of hungry guests you plan to feed.
