Gluten-free quiche is perfect for a lazy weekend breakfast or brunch with the family. It's got everything you need for a satisfying meal - ground sausage for protein, colorful peppers for a pop of color and crunch, spinach for nutrients, and creamy cheese to tie it all together
Swap the ground pork sausage with turkey sausage, diced ham, bacon crumbles, or crumbled Italian sausage.
Stick with spinach and bell peppers only or incorporate additional diced vegetables such as mushrooms, tomatoes or yellow squash. Sauté vegetables with the sausage for best results.
Use frozen spinach instead of fresh by microwaving until thawed then pressing all excess water out before adding to the skillet.
Top with a layer of shredded cheese if craving an extra cheesy flavor.
Use skim, 2% or whole milk instead of half and half if you already have on hand.
