Air fryer french toast sticks are simple to make and are easy for little hands to enjoy! Made with gluten-free bread combined with eggs, milk, and vanilla.
⭐️Prep the bread. Place the bread onto a cutting board and carefully cut into wide strips. Place into a large shallow bowl.
4 slices gluten-free thick bread
Whisk the liquid ingredients. In a mixing bowl with a spout, whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla. Pour over the prepared bread, turning to fully coat. Let the bread sit in the milk mixture for at least 10 minutes - 30 minutes.
1/4 cup milk, 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⭐️Air fry the french toast. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. Place the french toast strips onto the air fryer tray. Cook for 3 minutes, flip, then cook for an additional 3 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve. Serve hot with maple syrup and fresh fruit.

Tips
Flip halfway through cooking to crisp each side
Do not let the sticks sit in the milk mixture for more than 30 minutes or the sticks may be soggy once air fried.
