Learn how to make an easy gluten free charcuterie board perfect for parties, sleepovers, or the holidays. Made with a variety of options everyone will enjoy. Learn how to quickly make a charcuterie meat flower to finish the board off beautifully.
Make the charcuterie meat flower. Using a mason jar, fold slices of salami or large pepperoni over the lip of the jar. Overlapping the meat, place layers in a circular pattern around and around, gently pressing the meat into both sides of the jar. Place into the refrigerator while making the tray (or for about 5-10 minutes).
Organize the charcuterie board. Start by placing the small bowls with the caramel dip, guacamole, and salsa. Place the wooden skewers into a mason jar and add to the board. Add the fruit around the caramel dip, the chips around the guacamole and salsa.
Add the meat flower. Place the salami flower onto the tray by dipping the mason jar upside down and removing the jar. Place the mozzarella pearls and crackers onto the board. Serve right away, or refrigerate until serving.
Notes
The charcuterie board featured feeds up to 3-4 people assuming these individuals will be back for seconds. A general rule of thumb is to provide 2-3 oz of meat and cheese per person along with bread, crackers, fruits, etc...
Offer a spread of finger food appetizers to go along with your charcuterie board and/or provide alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks. Check out our collection of Warm Christmas Drinksthat will all pair well with charcuterie.
While best prepped close to serving time, you can prepare and loosely wrap the board with plastic wrap to store in the fridge. Serve within the next few hours. If prepping 1 or 2 days in advance, tightly wrap the board without the tortilla chips or crackers to prevent them from getting soggy. Add these items right before serving.
