Campfire peaches are the BEST easy camping dessert. Fresh peaches cook with brown sugar and butter until tender and caramelized. Top with vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat! Gluten-free.
Prep the butter and sugar. Before leaving for your camping trip, place brown sugar and butter in a ziplock bag. Store in the refrigerator or cooler until ready to use. Blend together with fingers in the bag right before use.
1/4 cup brown sugar, 2-3 tbsp butter
Prep the peaches in the foil. Place a peach half onto a large piece of foil. Add 1/4th of the butter/sugar mixture onto the middle of the peach. Place the other piece of peach on top and wrap tightly with foil. Repeat for the rest of the peaches.
4 fresh peaches, sliced in half with pit removed
⭐️Cook. Place into hot coals in the campfire. Let cook for about 15 minutes or until the peaches are softened. Take care when opening foil as steam will escape. Let cool a little and enjoy!
