Shrimp foil packets in the oven are great for a mess-free meal. Shrimp, andouille sausage, precooked rice, and vegetables are seasoned with cajun spices that are baked into a complete dinner meal in a foil packet. Gluten-Free.
1lb.raw shrimp, deveined and peeled or easy-peel shrimp
½lb.andouille sausage, sliced✅
1smallzucchini, sliced
1mediumbell pepper, sliced
8.8ounceprepackaged cooked brown rice✅
2tablespoonsCajun seasoning✅
1lemon, optional
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven. Preheat oven to 425° F, or preheat grill.
Add ingredients to the foil. To a large piece of heavy-duty tin foil, add rice, shrimp, sausage, zucchini, and bell pepper.
1 lb. raw shrimp, deveined and peeled or easy-peel shrimp, ½ lb. andouille sausage, sliced, 1 small zucchini, sliced, 8.8 ounce prepackaged cooked brown rice, 1 medium bell pepper, sliced
Season and seal the packet. Drizzle with olive oil. Season liberally with cajun seasoning, season with salt and pepper, and squeeze with lemon if desired. Roll the long side of the foil together on top and fold the sides in, sealing the foil packet shut tightly.
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, Olive oil, Salt and pepper to taste, 1 lemon, optional
⭐️Cook. Cook in the oven at 425 degrees for 15 minutes or until the veggies are softened. Alternatively, you can also grill or cook over the campfire for 15-20 minutes.
Serve.
