What has surprised you the most about feeding kids since becoming a mother?
Tell us about your most challenging moment feeding your child (or family):
My struggle was with breastfeeding. It was very important to me to breastfeed. However, I ran into multiple roadblocks. Ultimately, I could not produce enough to sustain my daughter. I put myself through hell trying to make it work. I still continue to struggle and beat myself up a little. The truth is my daughter is very healthy and happy. I tell patients all the time there is more than one path to being and eating healthy. I have to remember the same is true for my family. You can read the full story here.
