Pulled pork sliders are a kid favorite that comes together quickly using leftover pulled pork. Shredded pork is piled onto gluten-free rolls then topped with cheese. The buns are brushed with a mixture of mayo and spices and then baked to a golden brown.
This easy slider recipe makes for a tasty weeknight meal paired with a side dish (or two!) or served as an appetizer for the next occasion. We share serving size suggestions below if making for a larger crowd!

Slider Sandwiches
You can’t go wrong when serving shredded pork sandwiches. Kids and adults alike love taking a bite into a slider sandwich. The addition of the mayonnaise mixture to the top of the slider prior to baking is the secret sauce that completes our recipe.
It is fun to think of innovative ways for our family to enjoy leftovers. It helps when we can create recipes with leftovers during the week to save time. This is now one of our new favorite leftover dishes!
Of course, we still look forward to serving our Taco Quesadilla, Steak Nachos, Beef Chimichangas and Gluten Free Chicken Enchiladas, but it’s exciting to have a new recipe to add to the menu rotation!

Ingredients
- 6 pack gluten-free Canyon Bakehouse Hawaiian rolls or other dinner rolls
- 1.5 cups leftover pulled pork ✅
- 3 slices provolone cheese ✅
- 2 tablespoons mayo
- 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon dried minced onion ✅

How To Make
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Slice the rolls in half without cutting them apart setting the top half aside. We really liked the Canyon Bakehouse Hawaiian rolls but you can use other gluten-free dinner rolls as well.
Build the sliders
Add the pulled pork to the bottom of the rolls. Top with cheese then place the top of the rolls on top.
Blend the topping
In a small mixing bowl combine the mayo, horseradish, and dried onion. Using a pastry brush spread on top of the dinner rolls.
Bake
Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the topping is baked into the rolls. Serve hot.

There are a variety of sides to go with pulled pork such as Gluten Free Pasta Salad, Gluten Free Potato Salad, Broccoli Salad without Mayo, Velveeta Cheese Sauce, Dairy Free Chicken Buffalo Dip, Sour Cream and Onion Dip and Spinach Dip with Greek Yogurt. Pick one or choose a few different side dishes to serve.
These pork sliders can also be paired with chips, a fruit tray and a veggie platter for simplicity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Any gluten-free roll will work for sandwiches or sliders. We do, however, highly recommend these Hawaiian rolls as the flavor pairs extremely well with the pork.
Aim to pack 2-3 ounces of pork per slider.
Estimate 2-3 sliders per person when serving alongside other appetizers or side dishes.
Pulled pork will last up to 3-4 days in the fridge. Freezing pulled pork for up to 3 months is also an option. You can then defrost the pork before adding to the sliders.
