Kids In The Kitchen
Cooking tips and suggestions for kids making this recipe.
- Discard any leftover cornstarch mixture since raw chicken was added to the bowl.
- Be careful when adding the chicken to the hot pan as the oil may pop. Wearing oven mitts is a great idea to prevent the oil from splattering on your hands or arms.
- Watch as the seasame sauce thickens as it simmers – the addition of the cornstarch is what helps to make the sauce thick. Keep this in mind anytime you need to thicken a sauce for a different recipe!
