Adding a meat flower to your charcuterie board is one of the easiest ways to add a special touch. I first saw this idea when a friend shared a pic of a board she made for an event. By the look of it, I thought it would be time-consuming, but it’s actually super simple to make in just a minute.
Using a mason jar, fold slices of salami or large pepperoni over the lip of the jar. Overlapping the meat, place layers in a circular pattern around and around, gently pressing the meat into both sides of the jar.
Place into the refrigerator while organizing the rest of the tray (or for about 5-10 minutes).
Organize the charcuterie board
Start by placing the small bowls with the caramel dip, guacamole, and salsa on the board. Place wooden skewers into a mason jar and add to the board. Add the fruit around the caramel dip and the chips around the guacamole and salsa dips.
Place the salami flower onto the tray by dipping the mason jar upside down and removing the jar. Place the mozzarella pearls and crackers onto the board surrounding the meat flower. Serve right away or refrigerate until ready to serve.
