How To Make
To start, add the pork roast to the bottom of your crockpot. I can fit 8-10 pounds in mine. If you’d like to double or triple the recipe for a large party you can use a roaster to cook more meat at one time. Once the meat is in place add the seasonings. Make sure to cover the top and lift the meat to get some in between the roasts. For a delicious flavor, my go-to combination includes cumin, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. These seasonings work to enhance the taste of the pulled pork. Add the broth and cover.
Cook on low heat for 8-10 hours or high for 6-8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart. Remember to follow food safety guidelines and cook the roast to the recommended internal temperature.
Shred the pork and remove any bones and visible fat.
