How To Make
Add the candy coatings to two microwave safe bowls. Set one aside to melt after the first coating is used. Heat per package instructions.
Any gluten-free brand of chocolate bark or candy melts can be used. You can opt to create both white and chocolate dipped Oreos or stick with one or the other.
Dip the Oreos
Add one Oreo at a time to the melted candy coating using a fork to remove the Oreo, allowing the extra chocolate to drip off.
Carefully place onto a parchment lined baking sheet using a butter knife to gently remove the Oreo from the fork.
Repeat until the chocolate is gone. Melt the other candy coating and dip the rest of the Oreos.
Decorate the Oreos
Once the chocolate is hardened, drizzle the icing over the cookies in a back and forth pattern.
Let the cookies sit until the icing has hardened (about 1 hour) before stacking the cookies.

Kids In The Kitchen
Cooking tips and suggestions for kids making this recipe.
- Melt the chocolate candies right before you are ready to dip – this will prevent the chocolate from hardening in the bowl.
- To successfully dip cookies, place the Oreo on top of a fork then slowly lower into the melted chocolate then remove from the bowl, allow the excess chocolate to drip off and set on a sheet of parchment paper.
- Be creative with the cookie toppings such as sprinkles, nuts, icing, candies or a combination. Add before the chocolate hardens!
- Store cookies in an airtight container and leave at room temperature.
