You can defrost overnight in the fridge or cook straight from the freezer. We prefer to let the brats thaw as we notice a difference than when cooked from frozen. The brats are juicer and have a more appealing browned appearance. However, if you are in a pinch and need an easy dinner idea then cook frozen. Assemble the recipe as written then increase the total cooking time by 10-15 minutes. The internal temp of brats must reach 165°F before serving.
