How To Make
Follow the step-by-step instructions to create these fruit spring rolls in just 20 minutes!
Heat the oil
To begin, pour about 1 inch of oil into a large skillet or pan, we recommend using vegetable oil. Heat to 350°F.
Blend sugar mixture
While the oil is heating, blend the sugar and apple pie spice together in a small bowl. Set aside.
Ingredient Swap: 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, nutmeg, all spice or pumpkin pie spice can be swapped for the apple pie spice if desired.
Wet the spring roll wrappers
If this is your first time working with spring roll wrappers, it is important to know that each wrapper must be wet in order for it to roll without cracking. You will want to place each wrapper in water individually. You can place the wrappers in a large bowl filled with water or hold them under running water then place them onto a clean work surface. You can simply dip it into the water, remove to the work surface and it will quickly soften.
Pro Tip: Only wet as many wrappers as you have a place to set down. If working on a small surface, wet 1-2 wrappers, fill and wrap to set aside then repeat with another 1-2 wrappers until you have all the spring rolls wrapped.
Sprinkle with sugar
Sprinkle the spring roll wrapper with about 1/2 teaspoon of the sugar mixture. Place the halved banana onto the wrapper. Carefully fold in the sides, then roll-up.
Fry the spring rolls
Using tongs, carefully place the spring rolls into the hot oil. Cook about 5 minutes, turning halfway. Then, place on a paper towel to absorb any extra oil.
Serve
These spring rolls are best served while hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzled on top!

FAQ
This recipe does not freeze well – the bananas turn into mush once frozen and the spring rolls are no longer crispy. A single batch of this recipe makes 8 spring rolls, we recommend adjusting the recipe as needed to make just enough to serve without having leftovers.
Pair with a side of vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzled on top or sprinkle with powdered sugar.

We had to try these. Never used spring wraps before. They were easier to use than expected. Very good.
